Cheerleading Classes & Training in Germany

Visit any region of America and it's likely you're going to find a cheer academy or cheer training facility somewhere nearby. Visit any region or country in another part of the world, and guess what? You can also see the same or similar facilities there.

This is true in Danube, Germany, where the Danube Dragons proudly hold forth. Just like facilities in America, this cheer training organization offers cheer classes in several different levels, allowing youth of varying ages to participate.

Children as young as four years old can start cheer training with the Danube Dragons. They and children up to age seven are considered "Super Peewee Flames". They learn basic cheer knowledge, different types of cheer dances, and how to safely create and execute small pyramids.

From there, children between the ages of seven and eleven advance to the "Peewee Flames." "Junior Flames" are youth between the ages of eleven and fifteen. Participants fifteen and older are considered "Senior Flames."

As student move up, they work on perfecting routines, and pyramids become more challenging. No matter what country you are in, flips, tucks, "flying", splits, cartwheels, and other aspects of cheer are the same or similar. Even if you don't know a person's spoken language, if you participate in cheer activities, you can still communicate in the language of cheerleading.

So, the next time you are at your training facility, and are practicing your routines, take a moment to stop and consider that in Danube, Germany, someone is doing that very same thing. If you do, you may find yourself wanting to know more about the Danube Dragons.
