The beautiful Chelsea Clinton wedding took place in Rhinebeck, New York, at the historic, sprawling Astor Courts Estate. Chelsea Clinton's wedding dress was designed by high-profile designer Vera Wang (as many suspected would be the case), and featured a fitted, strapless bodice which was embellished with what looked like beading or crystals at the bride's narrow waistline. The skirt on the Chelsea Clinton wedding dress (pictures here) was a bit more free-flowing; the entire effect was very feminine and absolutely lovely. Chelsea topped off her wedding-day attire with an elegant bouquet of white flowers, and a very simple, very traditional veil. The bride's hair was swept up in an updo (possibly a bun), and her makeup was flawless and allowed her natural beauty to shine through.

The mother and father of the bride issued a statement to the New York Times late Saturday, saying "We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family."

The former first daughter's new groom, Marc Mezvinsky, is of the Jewish faith, and wore a traditional prayer shawl during the ceremony. Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky reportedly held the inter-faith ceremony before hundreds of guests at the elegant Astor Courts Estate in Rhinbebeck, NY. Rumored guests include Oprah, Ted Turner and Barbra Streisand.
