When you think of Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent dating, you think of them as an odd couple. The Caucasian Handler grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey in a large family with a Jewish father and a Mormon mother. The African American 50 Cent grew up as hardly a wanksta. Orphaned by the age of 8, he was selling drugs on the street at 12 and became the leader of his own drug operation by his teens, pulling in over $5,000 a day. Before he signed with Eminem's Shady Records at 27, he was shot nine times at 25.
But odd couples can work, as social psychologist Susan K. Perry notes. As reported at Web MD, "In the real world, Perry says, you may find more appeal in someone who is different in some ways. "The key is, which ways?"
Although Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent are different, they do share powerful similarities. Both are 35 years old. Both are in the entertainment business. Both have become quite wealthy. Both were born on the east coast.

According to NY Daily News, the rapper has been chasing the comedienne for months. After appearing on Chelsea Lately, he sent her sexy voice mails and he sent her flowers. Via his Twitter, 50 Cent indicated that he thinks Chelsea Handler is beautiful.
Chelsea's calendar is open, because she broke off her relationship with Dave Salmoni. Will the Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent relationship blossom into a full blown public romance where they show up on the red carpets holding hands? We shall see.

Post a CommentWay too much intrest in someone else's life for me. However since we are talking on the subject...It doesn't matter.... If they're ok with it why should I/WE care either way? Bottom line some will hate it others will love them being a couple. What's important is that we all find what makes us complete/happy.

I saw the interview he did with her. It was really kind of sweet, actually. I had always thought he was a hardened thug type, but he didn't come across that way at all. He's great looking and comes across as a really nice guy. They do make an odd couple though.

I think they probably have more in common than we think. We also have to remember that a lot of what celebrities show to the world is image and marketing.
