Cher Lloyd Stole Katie Waissel's Outfit for Last Week's 'X Factor'

If you thought Katie Waissel's clothing for her "X Factor" performance last week was a bit of a shambles - there is a very good reason for this. Apparently, Cher Lloyd stole Katie's outfit!

Insiders from the "X Factor" have suggested that Cher Lloyd may not be as innocent as she seems. While coming across as a sweet girl who just wants to do well, it has been reported that Cher has been using "dirty tricks" to ensure she keeps her place in the competition.

For the "X Factor" Elton John week, Katie Waissel chose a military style jacket and black, slitted trousers to wear for her performance. Reports say that when Cher Lloyd saw the outfit she demanded that she be the one to have the military look - made popular by Cheryl Cole. While Katie Waissel went for a lunch break, it is alleged that Cher stole the trousers so Katie couldn't wear the outfit.

A source said, "There was a lot of screaming, shouting and name-calling. Basically Cher nicked Katie's costume and all hell broke loose. It's dirty tricks now the competition is hotting up. Poor Katie couldn't believe what Cher had done. In the end she stormed back to her dressing room and had next to no time to find a new outfit."

The knives seem to be out for Cher Lloyd today, as fellow contestant Mary Byrne also had some eye-opening words about the teenager. Byrne said, "She (Cher) knows exactly what she's doing. She can cause a little bit of upset in the house with a lot of us because she will use her timidness to manipulate people. She's a good girl but she knows what she's doing, she's not as timid as she looks."

Louis Walsh also made some digs about Cher this week, branding her "moody and miserable", which is rather unprofessional coming from one of the X Factor judges. The latest "X Factor" casualty, Aiden Grimshaw was quick to defend Lloyd though, saying, "Cher is lovely. I think it was always going to be hard for someone who got such bad stick at such a young age to go around smiling but she's amazing and she's done really well."

Cher Lloyd is on rather shaky ground with her popularity and if Katie Waissel is voted out of the competition this week, she may well become the new "villain" of the show. Louis Walsh was absolutely right when he said, " She needs to learn to be nice to everybody - because you'll meet them on the way down."

Very interesting, and I just knew there was something "wrong" with Cher. The earlier rumours that she was a bully at school, and all the emotional stuff she was doing on the show, now all we see is a "sweet innocent" appearance, yet behind the scenes there are just many negative stories and rumours. These don't magically appear. I would like to see Cher and Katie go, even more than Wagner.

More drama! Hopefully she leaves this week!
