In an Interview with Piers Morgan Cheryl Cole Breaks Down

Tony Payne
X-Factor judge and Girls Out Loud member Cheryl Cole broke down during an interview with Piers Morgan for the ITV1 show Life Stories over her marriage breakup and battle with malaria.

Girls Out Loud member Cheryl has only recently returned as a judge on the UK hit talent show X-Factor having fallen victim to malaria a few months ago on a trip to Tanzania.

She also recently split up from her husband Ashley Cole, who is a defender for Chelsea Football Club with the divorce being finalised in September.

Cheryl has kept out of the media so far regarding her marriage, but on this program that tells her life story, she ended up breaking down and told program presenter Piers Morgan that she had no idea why everything went wrong.

She told Piers that she just felt numb, that they had a fantastic wedding day and a great marriage, but things began to go wrong with media reports of infidelities, and also that he tried to get a club official to cover these up for him.

This Life Stories episode will be shown in the UK on October 23.

Life Stories is hosted by Piers Morgan, and each week tells the story of the life of a well known celebrity.

The show is an updated version of the popular 1960's This Is Your Life which was hosted by Eamon Andrews, where he surprised the week's victim and let them to a studio where their life story would be told, and which featured many surprise guests from their life.
