Cheryl's Goulash

Cheryl Kottke
I am always looking for something different and coming up with my own recipes for things. Goulash has been one of my favorites for a long time as far as something to use leftovers for. If I don't have any leftover carrots or corn I use either fresh or canned. I prefer using fresh but if I don't have them or am in a hurry, canned does just as well.

INGREDIENTS:

4 oz. Macaroni
1 lb. Ground beef
1 medium Onion, diced
1 cup sliced Celery
4 oz. tomato sauce
1 -15.25 oz can whole kernel corn
1 -15.25 oz can sliced carrots
4 oz. Mushrooms, sliced
16 oz. Tomatoes, canned
½ cup ketchup
1 cup water
Pepper, to taste

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In large skillet fry ground beef until done, drain off grease.
Add to beef the onion and celery. Cook until onions are transparent.
Add tomato sauce, corn, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, ketchup, and water.
Add macaroni and heat thoroughly.
