Chester's Butter Flavored Puffcorn Snacks by Fritolay - Snack Review

JRS
I found Chester's Puffcorn at my local Giant's supermarket. The huge 5-oz bag of artificially flavored butter snack balls were priced at just $2! This snack instantly appealed to me not just for the price but also for the content! You see, I like regular popcorn just fine but find it something of a hassle to eat due to the kernels getting stuck in my teeth and also the texture sometimes bothers me when biting down on something that could be both soft and unexpectedly hard at the same time!

Chester's Puffcorn snacks are oven baked and unlike popcorn, have no hulls or hard kernels!

I found the buttery flavor just wonderful. Possibly even more flavorful than real freshly made hot buttered popcorn!

I loved the texture and the ability to simply place a spongy puffcorn on your tongue and feel it dissolve as the buttery flavor is released over your taste buds made this snack a delightfully flavorful, fun snack to eat!

Chester's light-tasting buttery corn snack has no trans fat and you can enjoy a full 3 cups of the snack for only 160 calories! That's roughly around 4 points on the Weight Watchers Points diet! AND, there are 5 servings in this large 5oz bag! While this is not the best choice for a snack if you're dieting, it is certainly not the worse either! A one ounce serving of Chester's Puffcorn Butter snack bites has little nutritional value with just 1g protein, 2% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin A, and 4% of the recommended daily allowance of Iron, based on a 2,000 calorie a day diet.

Price-wise you can't beat the value! And these buttery snack bites can be found at Wal-mart, Kroger, and other grocery stores. As mentioned, I came across mine at the local Giant Food Grocery Store! These are simply delicious and now I'll be looking for Chester's Puffcorn snacks in the Cheese flavored variety! Yum!

I'm looking for health information about this product in regards to animals. My father's taken to feeding them to my dog occasionally. I insist it's unhealthy, but being his kid he'll never listen to me. Can anyone give me some information on a dog's health in regards to these puffs? (She's a puppy at the age of 2 months)
    Thanks
