Chez Phillippe (http://www.peabodymemphis.com/dining/dining.cfm) is a rare gem of a restaurant located in the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. Lovely, upscale, and French, you can expect it to exceed your expectations. While you can plan to drop close to $200 for a dinner for two, the food is excellent, the service extremely attentive and the atmosphere romantic and elegant.

From the menu, you will opt for a three course ($68 per person), five course ($75 per person), or seven course meal ($90 per person). Because the prices are set, you may choose what you wish without worrying about which dish is less expensive. The Strip Steak with Sauce Béarnaise is delicious. It is served with Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus and Roasted Fingerlings. The Trio of Chocolate Mousse and the Assorted Ice Creams are absolutely perfect for dessert.

I definitely recommend Chez Phillippe for anyone (tourist or resident) looking for a wonderfully unusual experience in the Memphis area. Appropriate attire would be a very nice dress or pantsuit for ladies and dress slacks for men.
