Game Background
In the pleasant land of Oukoku, three mighty beasts have come to destroy its peace and tranquility. Fortunately, legend has it that a small knight will come to save the land of Oukoku from the three beasts of doom.
Gameplay
The ultimate objective of the game is to destroy the three beasts that have come to ravage the land of Oukoku.
If you have played any Legend of Zelda games, then you will be familiar with the game style of Chibi Knight. You can control Chibi Knight using your arrow keys. You move around the landscape and can encounter many other different characters. In many cases, you will encounter enemies that you will have to fight. Once you encounter an enemy, the battle will commence. While engaged in a battle, the screen will change perspectives so that you no longer move around a landscape but move in a two-dimensional world, being able to move left and right. You can also jump up and down on this plane. Touching enemies will damage Chibi Knight's armor. Once the armor is completely destroyed, the game will be over. Attack the enemies using you sword and a number of spells that you can pick up during your game time.
At the top left hand corner of the screen, you can view the armor available to Chibi Knight. Do not let this bar go down completely or the game will be over. Above the armor bar, you can also view the level that your armor is currently at. When you level up Chibi Knight, you will be given the opportunity to increase the level of your armor. To the right of the armor bar, at the top middle of the screen, you can view how much magic you currently have. Above the magic meter, you can also view the level that your magic is currently at. When you gain enough experience to level up Chibi Knight, you will be given the opportunity to increase the level of your magic abilities. To the right of the magic meter, you can see the level of your attack power. This too can be upgraded in the same way as the level of your armor and the level of your magic abilities. At the very top right hand corner of the screen, you can view how much experienc (XP) you have out of the amount you need to obtain in order to upgrade to the next level.
To gain experience, simply defeat enemies. When you defeat an enemy, the enemy may leave behind health or magic or any number of other items that you can pick up by simply touching them with Chibi Knight.
Travel through the land defeating enemies and gaining experience, while talking to the locals, to learn more about the three creatures that haunt the land of Oukoku so that you will be better prepared to take on the three beasts and free the land of Oukoku from their evil reign of terror.

Game Review
Chibi Knight is an exciting role-playing adventure with much to do for gamers of any level. Fans of the Legend of Zelda series or similar types of games will enjoy Chibi Knight. Newcomers to this style of gameplay will also welcome this refreshing submission. The many spell options and the ability to level-up are great incentives for anyone to continue playing the game. Another great aspect of this adventurous submission is the many different music tracks that accompany the game and really add flavor to the game. The use of many tracks instead of just one looping track reduces the repetitiveness that any game has the potential of falling prey to. Chibi Knight does a good job of not making this happen.
Chibi Knight scores an 8/10 for high level of addictiveness and entertainment value.
