Chicago's Jet Vodka Lounge

Located on North Sheffiled Avenue of Chicago, Illinois, the Jet Vodka Lounge is one of the most renowned clubs in all of the United States. With over 130 different types of vodkas and thousands of possibilities, the Vodka Lounge attracts those who want the coveted $400 Jewel of Russia or the Skorppio brand. Specialty mixes, sure, but those who would like to drop a bit of cash go for the upscale bottles.

Getting in can get difficult, especially with those names flying around. Bouncers tend to keep the lists strict and prioritized. If you happen to get in that club, you'll see a Boeing 777-like club with great lighting and a ceiling that's more like a dome. The servers and stewardesses wear the Gwen Stefani ponytail along with the sexy clothes. Watch out for their special dance. You'll know what I mean.

The overall atmosphere of Chicago's Jet Vodka Lounge is one of sleek, cool, and modern feel. There are coolers built into seat cubes so the vodka can stay cool, which is a nice touch.Be sure to dress in the best you have, or you might get the boot from bouncers. If you expect seating without planning ahead, don't. VIPs usually will snag whatever seating there is. Try calling ahead if you really want it.

Vodka Lounge favorites and classics include the Lift Off (Stoli Vanil, watermelon liquor, grenadine, Effen Black Cherry, and lemoncello) and the Lemon Pepper Martini (lemonade, SV Honey Pepper Vodka). I personally recommend the bottle service over the specialty drinks. There is absolutely nothing like the Mezzaluna. Of course, you can go for the Jewel of Russia as well.

Try getting there on a Thursday for those $2 drinks if you are afraid to drop the cash. Those drinks are just as good and delicious. If you're not going on a Thursday, try getting there before 10 PM. There's usually a higher cover charge after that time. The Jet Vodka Lounge is huge, stylish, and yet it's still affordable for those who still just want a nice outing.

If you're a guy, you better check the Jet out! The staff is hot and the scenesters...wow. If you're a lady, well I can't tell you much but I hear the bartenders are cute and will help you out if you have trouble deciding from the 130 vodkas. Plus, most guys at the Jet are willing to spend some money on you.
