Neighborhood: Lincoln Square
Chicago, IL 60640
United States of America
The average price for single-family homes in the Chicago Lincoln Square neighborhood is approximately $475,000. Actually, the average selling price of these homes depends upon which area of Lincoln Square that the homes are in. It seems that homes west of North Avenue sell for considerably less than those homes for sale east of North Western Avenue.

What has been a typical trend in this neighborhood is that buyers interested in rehabbing these homes are making these purchases. Fortunately for the buyers, and sellers for that matter, is that funding is readily available for those interested in purchasing a "fixer-upper," and making the necessary renovations or remodel changes.

During this spring and summer, the Lincoln Square neighborhood will most likely see a completion in many of the formerly gutted rehab dwellings. Average prices for homes in this area range from in the $300,000s to upwards of $500,000s and beyond.
