Chicken Flavor Canine Carry Outs Make My Dog Wag Her Tail

Product Review

Charlotte Kuchinsky
My dog is a member of our family so we like to spoil her. She gets little treats here and there just like the rest of us. Sometimes that includes a new stuffed animal, with which she can wrestle. Sometimes it means a pretty new collar. A lot of the time it simply means a new "yummie" food treat (as she knows them).

One of Pepper's favorite snack treats comes from Canine Carry Outs. It is their Chicken Flavor snacks. She loves these snacks because they are made from real chicken, which is her very favorite food product of all time.

Chicken Flavor Canine Carry Outs come in a 7 oz., 25 oz., 42 oz. and 72 oz. bags. The bags are designed to look like a gourmet "doggy bag" from a fancy restaurant.

The Chicken Flavor Canine Carry Outs come in a bright blue package that features red and white lettering and a cute picture of a dog on the front. It is colorful and easy to find on the store shelf.

This snack is carried in most grocery stores, many discount department stores and some pet stores like PetCo. The price will vary slightly from store to store but will generally run as follows:

between $1 and $3 for a 7 oz. bag;
between $4 and $6 for a 25 oz bag;
between $8 and $12 for a 42 oz. bag and
between $13 to $15 for the 72 oz. bag.

That makes this particular treat an exceptional bargain because they will last a long time.

In addition to chicken flavor snacks, Canine Carry Outs also come in Bacon Flavor, Beef Flavor, Beef and Cheese Flavor and Pizza Flavors. Chicken Flavor Canine Carry Outs are made with 12.5 percent protein, 9 percent fat, 1.5 percent fiber and 33 percent moisture. The protein is primarily chicken.

Ingredients include, but are not necessarily limited to, animal fat, chicken, egg product, natural smoke flavor, salt, soybean meal, water and wheat flour. These snacks also include BHA as a preservative, phosphoric acid, potassium sorbate, propylene glycol and titanium dioxide.

These treats are fortified with vitamins and minerals, which include calcium. Calcium is an important for an aging pet in particular since it helps to ensure strong teeth and bones.

Chicken Flavor Canine Carry Outs are chewy and scrumptious, with the look, smell and taste of grilled chicken. They provide a way to reward a pet for good behavior any time you want, at a price you can afford.

Del Monte Pet Products distribute this product. That is a major division of Del Monte Foods out of San Francisco, California.

    I can understand what you mean about your dog being a member of your family. That's exactly how we feel about our cats, so of course our furry friends deserve treats! Thanks for the review.
