Chicken Helper: Creamy Chicken and Noodles Review

Dittmer
We were in the grocery store the other day and saw a new flavor from Hamburger Helper called Creamy Chicken and Noodles. So we decided to give it a try, because we always have good luck with their other products. The cost was $1.49. And you only needed to add chicken.

How to Make Creamy Chicken & Noodles

1. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces. Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter in 10-inchh skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken turns white.
2. Stir in 1 cup Hot water, 2 cups Milk, Sauce Mix and uncooked pasta. Heat to a boiling, stirring occasionally.
3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 14 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
4 Remove from heat and uncover (sauce will thicken as it stands).

Pretty quick and simple, Right?

So do I give it two thumbs up, or down?

The answer is unfortunately two thumbs down! Way down! I took about two bites of this and that was all I could eat. It didn't taste good at all. The chicken I had made wasn't bad, but the meal it self was terrible. My one and a half year old son wouldn't eat it either. My husband did eat his, but he said he didn't like it either. So this Chicken Helper is something you will never find in my shopping cart again and I definatly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Although I had a bad experience with this Helper, I will still buy the brand because I have had some really tasty meals come from Hamburger and Chicken Helpers over the years.

Good luck with your shopping experience!
