Rise up to salute the sun,
nurture you - nurture the earth,
wilingly surrendering the empowering love
to billions from her blessed nourishing breast.
Stand tall with the anointed sphere
to the sky.
Listen to Sister Wind and feel her
talk to your body with her
soothing powerful gentleness.
Search the high places for your brother
who descends to honor you
with greeting and a word.
Resident in his wings
from high places
sees a far off,
standing watch.......in love.....standing watch.
Child of Africa
the search for the secret knowledge
is an illusion of the infantile and they are many,
like ants to the ant hill, busy being busy.
In your heart, cries your mother
on whom you stand and receive
the love, the juice, the power
that cares for life.
In your heart, cries your sister
who embraces you and bathes you in her nature.
In your heart, cries the brother
who can see afar off, the mystery
is no mystery. Be calm and at peace.
I keep constant vigil that you
and the village be safe.
In you heart, Child of Africa,
the search is not a venture, it is
an adventure within, a way of life
To be experienced;
felt, thought, and shared.
To be experienced;
felt, thought, and shared.
Child of Africa, Behold!
Honor Father with Love. Honor Mother with Love.
Honor Sister with Love. Honor Brother with Love.
Child of Africa
More than all of these,
Honor yourself,
with love!
