Child Prodigy

At the tender age of five, I knew I was going to be a successful writer.I would compose short stories out of my alphabet soup. Who would have predicted sports would of been one my favorite pastimes? Gym teachers claimed that I was abusing flintstone vitamins. I'm glad that my body stretched out. I had gained a couple pounds from taking other kids animal crackers and fruit drinks.

After recess when it was time to take naps, I would get these awful nightmares about school. I didn't need to experiment in chemistry class to realize that school and I weren't going to mix. What would always tease my brain, was when teachers would tell me to quit acting like a smart ass. I knew I wasn't a rocket scientist at the time but didn't that statement defeat the purpose of school?

I would envy Barney for having more friends than everybody. My self-esteem started ascending when Mr. Rodgers would invite me everywhere in his neighborhood, even though I never did learn how to tie my shoe. Nobody ever tried touching my toys, they wouldn't even take a glimpse since I had a tendency of demonstrating my Power Ranger fighting techniques.

Five years into my childhood who would of known these events would of foreshadowed my life...
