Parents may want to review which specific games their children are playing, but in general most of these games are kid friendly.

Toned Down Violence

Some manufacturers have produced games that are simply toned down versions of other, more violent or over the top, games. These are aimed at the younger audience and are more reasonable for your child. One of the more popular of these is the Lego Star Wars games, while they do contain some amount of violence, it is nowhere near the degree one would see in a normal fighting game. To find games like these, that are designed with children in mind you should look for games with agreeable cartoon or movie characters that you allow your children to watch. There are many Spongebob and Dora the Explorer games out there that are build for a child audience.
