Children are energy and pure joy
Running and bouncing and frolicking
They laugh at the slightest oddity
They cry at the vaguest slight
Often painfully honest, and always watching
Adults are all giants to them, and they are
The observant sponges, always learning and
Always questioning what they see..
Children are good mirrors for us,
They can show us our own
Likeness, our own state-of-mind.
