To make a warm, milky cup of cocoa, you'll need:
1/2 a bar of dark chocolate
a cup of hot water
3 cups of full cream milk
sugar to taste
cinnamon powder to taste
a handful of small marshmallows
First, melt the chocolate in a saucepan using a wooden ladle.
Gradually add hot water and stir in until a smooth consistency is reached.
Once completely melted, gradually pour in the milk, stirring gently all the time.
Add in sugar and taste to make sure it's sweet enough, but not too sweet.
Add a dash of cinnamon powder.
Remove from heat and pour into a large mug or cup with a wide rim.
Add marshmallows just prior to serving.
Mmmm, the perfect nightcap before you fall asleep!
