Childhood Vaccinations, Thimerosal & the Link to Autism

With the dramatic increase in cases of autism, asperger syndrome, and pervasive developmental disability (PDD), there has been a growing concern and debate amongst parents, medical scientists, and medical professionals regarding the safety of vaccines and the presence of Thimerosal; a highly toxic cocktail of containing a high concentration of mercury and other heavy metals and chemicals, created to dramatically increase the shelf life of many routine childhood vaccinations on the market today. (According to the University of Calgary's Faculty of Medicine, by definition, "Thimerosal is an inorganic mercury compound which is metabolized to ethylmercury and thiosalicylate and has been present since the 1930's as a preservative"

The facts are this: In 1980, there were approximately one in every 10,000 children in the United States who were diagnosed on the autism spectrum. According to the United States Center for Disease Control, in 2010, there are about one in every 110 who are diagnosed with the disorder. These statistics however are considered by many experts to be very conservative, as many children are misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, when they actually suffer from autism. Also, many children simply go undiagnosed, while their behaviors are blamed on poor parenting. This dramatic incline in autism cases runs directly parallel to the increase in routine childhood vaccinations and the clustering together of several varieties of disease antibodies in just one jab.

In mid 2010, the non-profit research group by the of SafeMinds, published 2 documents regarding recent experiments on 2 groups of baby monkeys. The monkeys in the first group were vaccinated with the MMR jab which included the preservative thimerosal in it; the same vaccine given to human infants around the age of one year. The monkeys in the second group were not vaccinated. The conclusion was dramatic; more than half of the monkeys who were vaccinated immediately began to show multiple traits of those like autistic children, whereas none of the monkeys who had not received the MMR jab showed any of these traits.

The big pharmaceutical companies who create these vaccines continue to deny the obvious; that their vaccines are injuring our children and creating a lifetime of brain damage; including autism and other disorders. It is obvious that they do not wish to be held accountable for all of the damage they have done and are continuing to do, as it would cost them billions of dollars in damages through the class action law suites that already exist and continue to be filed. They continue putting the preservatives with these toxins in the vaccines as well, in order to extend the shelf life of the vaccines. With thimerosal in the jab, they can last 52 times longer on the self than they would otherwise without it. They know that if they allow the shelf life to expire, they will not make as much in profit. This is proof in point: Vaccinations are no longer for the purpose of preserving healthy people, but about making billions of dollars in profits.
