Children Sleep while parents creep
Presents to wrap, promises to keep
The kids were told a bed time story
Will wake tomorrow to sights of glory
The tree is trim the house complete
A snack is left, a treat so sweet
A glass of milk to wash it down
Then on to the next house in this town
All of this while children dream
Containing an excitement so extreme
The wonders and joys of being so young
Parents converge where the mistletoe is hung
A warm snuggle followed by a kiss
This evening total and utter bliss
This year ended on a high note
And that is how I will end this quote
