A great place for a birthday party in Central Illinois is Chuck E Cheeses. For $10.99 a child, your child can have a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. The birthday package will include: a decorated reserved table for 90 minutes, 20 game tokens per child, dedicated host/hostess for your party, 2 slices of one topping pizza per child, unlimited soft drinks for every child, Balloon Boquet and Chuck E Cheese Lunch box as a gift to the birthday child, 100 tickets, medallion and special sticker for the birthday child, birthday show starring Chuck E Cheese and your child.

This is a great idea for an old child. Upper Limits offers birthday parties. For $10 a person (need a minimum of 6 people - max is 15), you can have supervised rock climbing in the gym. Each person will get to climb two times. A staff member will be available to demonstrate each climb. For an additional $10 a half hour, you can rent the lounge for private use. Upper Limits supplies the lounge and you bring what you need for the party. A T-shirt is given to the birthday person. This is a great idea for kids or adults. I brought my husband here for a surprise birthday and he loved it. The staff is amiable and it was tons of fun! Miller Park Zoo

Bloomington's Zoo offers birthday parties for children. There are three options for birthday parties. The first package includes Zoo admission, picnic shelter (up to 2 hours), treat bags and carousel rides. The fee is $100 for up to 20 people and $5 each additional person. The second package option is the same as the first except you can reserve a climate controlled indoor room for up to 2 hours. The fee is $150 for up to 20 people ($7.50 each additional person).

The final option is my favorite. This option allows your child to select 2 or 3 animals to visit the party - there choice from the behind-the-scenes holding area. This option is $250 and is strictly limited to 20 people. This option includes a treat bag for each person. Activities vary but they promise the children will have a great time!
