Children's Birthday Party Venues in Colorado Springs

There are more birthday party venues available in Colorado Springs other than than pizza or burger places. Here are five of our friends and family favorites.

The Rock Climbing Center

One hour of rock climbing equals eight hours of normal kid activity. All the kids in my daughter's posse have had a party at a rock climbing facility. It really is amazing to watch a group of boisterous teenagers walk through the door and turn into a quiet group of tired kids after an hour of rock climbing.

The rock climbing center is twenty minutes north of Colorado Springs and easy to find.

The center charges $250 for up to 10 children, $15 for each additional child. One and one-half hours of rock climbing might not normally seem like a lot of time, but it's an intense time that the kids use a lot of energy to stay focused and keep moving. Monart

The philosophy that guides teachers at Monart is that drawing, like any other skill, can be taught one concept at a time. Monart offers a drawing party for $220.00. They will provide paper plates, cups, plastic ware and napkins, you bring the cake. The school has several age appropriate themes to choose from. Your party is a 75 minute drawing lesson and a 45 minute celebration party. You will also receive invitations to mail, and a Monart T-shirt for the birthday child.

The traditional schools in Colorado Springs are heavy in the art curriculum. This emphasis in the arts leads to a high appreciation level on the part of the students. A party at Monart could be just the ticket for your art-inspired youngster.

Aerials is always a sure fire winner for a birthday party. The kids get to play hard and eat cake. It usually ends up being a soda swilling good party time. $120.00 will give your birthday group one hour in the gym and a group leader to keep the party rolling. You are also given the use of a room, for thirty minutes, for a birthday celebration. Tip. If you go over in time, it becomes expensive. If you don't want an enlarged bill at the end, keep a close eye on the clock.

Sky Sox

This party is for the baseball fans. The Colorado Sky Sox are the farm team for the Colorado Rockies. You never know which big leaguer might get sent back to the minor's for a little brushing up. Even if the team is made up entirely of minor leaguers, it's still a great night out.

The cost is $16.00 per child with a minimum of ten. Each guest receives chips, soda and a hot dog.
A ticket to the fun zone and a ticket for the game is included. The birthday child receives their own assortment of goodies, and an autographed baseball is just one of them.
