Children's Birthday Party Venues in My Hometown

Orlando Science Center

Put on your walking shoes, take an extra dose of patience, and get ready for the Orlando Science Center. It is a full day of exploring, and there is something there for everyone. Park your car in the large covered parking garage and take the glassed-in high walk bridge over the traffic and enter the Science Center on Level Two. You and your guests check in at the front desk and give the name of your birthday party. The party assistants will help you and your guests with wrist bands. May I suggest that an adult stay at the front desk area until all in your party have arrived. Remember; get cell phone numbers of those parents who are not staying. Also get the kids cell numbers. Communication is vital when working with children.

The Science Center is a four story building with lots of stairs. There is an elevator to be used when the legs wear out. The recommended ages are from five to twelve years old. Your party time and space are reserved, but your ticket is good for the entire day. You have two choices for dates and three choices for the party time.

Saturday & Sunday Party Times
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

For reservations call 407-514-1212. For follow up questions call 407-514-2059. For the toll-free number call 888-682-4386.

Larger parties (more than 20) will be celebrated in the larger classrooms. To keep parents free to enjoy the exhibits as well as watch the kids, the Science Center has everything your party needs, including cake, ice cream, and lemonade. If you are planning a themed party, you may bring your plates, cups and tablecloth. No streamers, helium balloons, piƱatas, etc. Clean up is included. Discuss any foods with your party assistant. You can not bring food. There is a restaurant on campus, and the gift shop is terrific.

The Orlando Science Center furnishes invitations that you may print out. (See Web Site Below) I would recommend that you also send the map from the web site with specific pick up instructions, including time and location. Be exact. Make sure everyone has your cell phone number.

As for the experience, nothing compares. This is one of the most rewarding and memorable adventures for you and your kids.
