IKEA 2010 sees many new items in Children's IKEA.
In kid's bedding, they introduce the new VITAMINER series, includes a duvet cover set, and VITAMINER BLOMMA pair of curtains. The duvet has abstract hearts scattered all over them. The curtains have little sun/flower shapes in bright colors. For babies, IKEA introduces a crib in the VITAMINER series, with bedding and a baby blanket as well. The baby blankets are bright and cheerful, in colors such as turquoise, bright orange, and pink, with outlines of little creatures sewn on them. The VITAMINER TRUMMA crib duvet cover is peppered with little drums in coordinating colors.
If the MAMUT series is too whimsical for your liking, IKEA introduces a new series called the KRITTER series. This series offers a table and chairs in a blue similar to MAMUT blue.
For playthings, FABLER also introduces a new rattle with a low sound for baby's delicate ears. They are animals in little plush cars, such as a bunny and a duck. Also, a new series called DUKTIG offers children kid-sized cups, bowls, and plates for role playing and imaginary play. IKEA introduces an adorable finger puppet set called the TITTA FOLK finger puppets, including 10 different puppets! These would make an awesome Christmas stocking stuffer or inexpensive birthday present.
IKEA children's also sees some price reductions, namely in their very popular MALA easel which has dropped $10. At under $15, this makes an excellent gift and is affordable enough to purchase any time of year, not only around the holidays. However, the wildly popular TROFAST storage system has not seen any price reductions this year. IKEA does have semi-annual sales though, so any items which haven't seen price reductions sometimes are reduced during those times.
IKEA continues to create incredible products at reasonable prices and remains a wildly popular worldwide corporation with outstanding customer service and a dedication to environmentally conscious products and materials. For more information, visit IKEA online.
