Though these films are rated G and PG, parents should still investigate the films themselves. Learn as much as you can about it by reading articles and reviews and speaking with other parents who have seen the film.
Hannah Montana: The Movie (April 10)

The latest installment in the Hannah Montana monopoly is the TV show's first feature film. The movie opens finding Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) struggling with the balancing act required to be both Miley and Hannah Montana, especially with her pop-star alter ego's rapidly rising fame. But when her father (Billy Ray Cyrus) witnesses Miley's burgeoning diva attitude, he decides to take her back home to Crowley Corners, Tennessee.
Forced to put aside her alter ego for the sake of real life, Miley begins to realize that being Hannah Montana isn't all it's cracked up to be. Soon, she'll have to pick just one life to live.
Earth (April 22)
G
Earth is the first film in the stunning Disneynature series. Narrated by James Earl Jones, the documentary film follows a year in the life of three animal families (polar bears, whales and elephants) and their journey across the planet. Along the way, spectacular camera work will document the other creatures inhabiting the world around us.
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (May 22)

Ben Stiller returns to his post as night watchman Larry Daley. This time, he has to journey to the Mecca of all museums: The Smithsonian. Returning to the adventure are Owen Wilson as the cowboy Jedediah and Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt. The film will also be joined by some new faces, including Amy Adams as the famous Amelia Earhart, Hank Azaria as Egyptian pharaoh Ka Mun Rah, Christopher Guest as Ivan the Terrible and Alain Chabat as Napoleon.
Up (May 29)

Disney/Pixar's newest film Up tells the story of grouchy 78-year-old balloon salesman, Carl Fredericksen, (Christopher Plummer) who finally fulfils his dream of traveling to the wilds of South America. How does he do it? By tying thousands of balloons to his house and flying away. Unfortunately for Carl, he has a stowaway: Russell, the optimistic and cheerful nine-year-old Wilderness Explorer. The adventure will be presented in Disney Digital 3-Dâ„¢ in select theaters.
Imagine That (June 12)
PG (for some mild language and brief questionable behavior)
In Imagine That,Eddie Murphy plays as a successful financial executive who spends more time with his work than with his seven-year-old daughter (Yara Shahidi). However, when his career begins to deteriorate, he believes that the answer to all his problems are in his daughter's imaginary world. Because of this, he spends more time with his daughter, but only to get closer to this world of hers and not to her.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (July 1)

The third installment of the Ice Age series is the latest film to get the 3-D treatment. While Manny and Ellie are awaiting the birth of their baby mammoth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger wonders if he's gone soft while hanging with his pals. In the meantime, Sid the sloth gets himself in trouble when he steals some dinosaur eggs while trying to make a family of his own. When the gang goes on a mission to help Sid, they encounter dinosaurs, battle the world around them and in other words, "run amuck."
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (July 17)
PG (for scary images, some violence, language and mild sensuality)
The latest installment in the Harry Potter series is considerably darker since the last time we saw the world's favorite wizard. Voldemort is getting a hold on both the Muggle and wizarding words and Hogwarts is caught in the middle. Dumbledore works with Harry, preparing him for an imminent final battle, while attempting to destroy Voldemort's defenses in the process. But even while the fate of the wizarding world lingers in the balance, Harry, Ron and Hermione are suffering from the effects of teenage hormones. As the trio experience both romance and jealousy, tragedy lies ahead ready to destroy all the things the friends hold dear.
G-Force (July 24)

G-Force is yet another 3-D film, this time by producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The film follows the adventures of a secret government program that trains animals to work as spies. The "G-Force" is comprised of guinea pigs Darwin (voice of Sam Rockwell), Blaster (voice of Tracy Morgan) and Juarez (voice of Penelope Cruz), as well as the fly reconnaissance expert Mooch and Speckles (voice of Nicholas Cage), the star-nosed mole computer and information specialist.
