Children's Poem: Fluffy's Seven Lives

Tammy White
My cat was born with seven lives
But now she's down to one
She lives a life of danger
Always having fun

Fluffy lost her first life
Trying to catch a bee
She jumped into the air
And fell out of a tree

Fluffy lost her second life
Jumping on a log
The log began to move
And she saw it was a dog

Fluffy lost her third life
Chasing after me
She couldn't catch the boat
And floated out to sea

Fluffy lost her fourth life
Sitting on a jar
It rolled into the street
And under Grandpa's car

Fluffy lost her fifth life
Going for a hike
Her hair got in her eyes
And she didn't see the bike

Fluffy lost her sixth life
Falling out of bed
Her feet refused to move
And she landed on her head

Now Fluffy only has one life
She can't get into trouble
She's such a clumsy cat
I have to keep her in a bubble!
