Chima Quits Big Brother 11; Fans Mystified

Big Brother 11 Contestant Chima Quits Big Brother 11 on Friday Night; Fans Scrambling to Catch Up

Chima quit Big Brother 11? Yes that's right; Chima quit Big Brother 11 on early Saturday morning. That Chima quit Big Brother 11 may come as a surprise to fans of the CBS show that have come to know her as a very outspoken contestant. Now with Chima quitting Big Brother 11, it is a sure bet that production is scrambling to figure out what they are going to do in the house next. Those watching the live feeds of the Big Brother house were the first to know that Chima quit Big Brother 11, but as the news begins disseminating around the internet, it will be interesting to see whether when Chima quit Big Brother 11 she becomes vilified or sympathized for her efforts on the show.

That Chima has quit Big Brother 11 may not matter to people not interested in the CBS reality show, but this is huge news to anyone that watches Big Brother 11 on a regular basis. Last week in the Big Brother house Chima had been the head of household, but a mystery power given to a specific person in the house took away her power at the last moment. That mystery power was selected through what the show calls "America's Vote" where America can phone in or go to the Big Brother website and vote on specific topics. This time the vote was for a mystery power that would allow the selected house guest to have the power to overturn the head of household's nominations and replace them with their own. Jeff was chosen, and he replaced Chima's nominees with Jessie and Natalie; ultimately sending Jessie home.

Ever since Jessie was sent home, Chima has been a difficult person to live within the Big Brother house to say the least. A fight erupted with her and Russell earlier on Friday that caused her to call him a terrorist, and it continued to be a very volatile place in the house. After midnight on Friday night, Chima began verbally attacking production, blaming them for her lack of success in the game, blaming production for taking away her power, and making hand gestures to the cameras on the show. As the tirade continued, the house feeds were turned off to the live viewers, and they were presented with "fish tanks" that were up intermittently as some random views of the house were interspersed. Big Brother producers kept asking house guests to follow the rules, but Chima wasn't interested.

Around 1:00 A.M. the feeds went off for an extended period of time, and when they came back on, Chima was no longer seen on the live feeds. It became quite clear immediately that Chima was done from the show, and rumors began to fly fight away that Chima had quite Big Brother 11. With the live feeds back up, Natalie also threatened to quit the show, but it was very obvious that Chima was gone and wasn't coming back. The anger inside Chima had finally got the best of her apparently, and now she is no longer a Big Brother cast member. Some fans may be rejoicing this turn of events, but it is definitely going to be interesting how CBS relays this information in their show.

People it is just a show! Get over it! Chima was just a spoil bratt! When she didn't get her way she resorted to name calling, just like a child. I think BB dropped the bsll this season. I never saw so many crybabbies in one place at one time! Thanks for the lousy show this year BB!

Good riddance - Chima was a spoiled brat who thinks she deserved " special " treatment. Rather than compete like everyone else in the BB house, Chima thought she could intimidate the producers. Glad America could see what type of person Chima is, and this should help limit her career when everyone realizes she is racist, slacker.

The Coup de Taut was given out before Chima won HOH. It would have effected whoever won. Jeff could even have won HOH! There is ALWAYS s secret 'twist'
on Big Brother & Chima acted like a spoiled brat and a big sore loser!

Whom ever wrote that Obama and Chima have anything to do with each other is the real crazy one here! As far as Chima quitting she lost a great opportunity to go far in the media which has been her dream in life. Big Brother 11 could have opened doors for her. Chima was wrong for continuing to call Russ a terrorist over and over again. She knew it would charge him up racially. Chima ruined one of the best Big Brother seasons. She was too hung up on Jessie and their group. She was worried about her power in the house and yet didn't seem to fully understand the game. She was playing as a team not an individual. And when her so called "team" was broken up in what should be an individual game she fell apart.

she's a spoiled brat! Bet she made Obama proud!

  • Are you serious.. Chima is off?...lol8/16/2009

I am so glad she got kicked off the show. She made Afican American women look so bad. Big brother ...never put a person like this on your show again because you may loose a viewer. I love looking at this show but Chima made it very hard for me to continue watching this show. Thank God she is off.

Chima is a poor sport. As soon as the tables turned she broke down and her true "inner beauty" (lol) came out. She has a weak soul and refused to swallow the fact that she aligned herself with the wrong side. So she did what we all expected, and made it out to be some racist conspiracy issue. Boo Hoo chima, get over it! It's just a game and you made a complete fool of yourself, and now we will remember your selfish, hate-driven soul for months to come instead of what probably would of been just a few days. Your acting career is over Chima. No Good Morning America interview for your ass. You give our people such a bad name during a time when we should be setting the example. I was rooting for ya girl but damn you really dissapointed, I truly hope you learn something from this and become a better person for it.
