Chimney Rock Park

Tara Darity
Walking, Walking
Up the mountain
When will I find
A water fountain

My feet are tired
But I can't stop
I have to make it
To the top

It's a challenge
I'm up for it
No matter what
I will not quit

The sun is shining
So much to see
I stop on the path
To lean on a tree

Almost there
How much longer
Maybe this
Will make me stronger

Yes, I made it
I'm at the top
Where's a seat
So I can drop

The flag looks beautiful
Its flying high
As the wind blows
In the bright blue sky

I didn't realize you all had a Chimney Rock out there too! We have one in Nebraska as well.

Fun to see the view from the top, though!

That is a long walk but I will probably go back and do it again.
