China Traffic Jam Going on 10 Days Now with No Relief in Sight Until Mid-September

Think we have got traffic jams in the United States? How could we handle being stuck in traffic for 9-days with no relief in sight? The people stuck in the traffic jam in China are feeling the effects of the feeling because so far they've been stuck in a traffic jam for 9 days. Construction on a major road between Beijing and Jining has stalled vehicles on the road and no relief is in sight until the middle of September. Currently, the traffic jam spans 62 miles long waiting to move goods into Beijing.

The roadway that is clogged is the major road to move goods into Beijing, China. People are just sitting around talking, playing games and buying goods from people swerving in and out of lanes on bicycles offering food and water as they wait in the traffic jam.

These people are persevering and maintaining their sanity while sitting in the China traffic jam. I would imagine if that type of incident happened in the United States there would be some tempers flying and a whole lot of angry people. Most people would just abandon their vehicles and come back once the road is opened back up. According to CNN, most people stuck in the traffic jam move less than a half-mile per day.

China traffic jam is contributed to road construction, but that's should be expected with a city of over 20 million in Beijing, China. The road infrastructure around the city is only able to handle around 7.5 million cars but with many delivery trucks from outside the area pushes that number of vehicles on the highway to an enormous amount. China's economy is growing at an enormous rate as well as the population in and around the large cities in China.
Hopefully, by mid-September vehicles will start moving again on the highway and free the people from being stuck on the highway.
