Chinese and Japanese Are Angry Because of the "iPad"

The new "Apple" Tablet Computer "iPad" is accused of theft incognito and design.

Chinese company "Shenzhen Great Loong Brother Industrial" which sells its Tablet PC "P88" announced that it is intending to sue "Apple". "Shenzhen Great Loong Brother Industrial" claims that "Apple" copied the "P88" tablet computer's design.

"P88" was placed on the market last year. Ironically, the "P88" image has often been published in the IT sites illustrating texts on the future "Apple" tablet computer. Some even indicated that the "P88" was made on the basis of "Apple's" "iPad" prototype photographs which were leaked on the Internet.

"PC World" said: "Shenzhen Great Loong Brother Industrial" is known as producer of fake phones, shamelessly copied from other companies. But this time the representatives of Chinese company denied modeled "P88' designs from "Apple" because they submitted the tablet pc to the market first.

Both computers use touch screens which are very similar in size ("P88" Size - 10.2 inches, "iPad" - 9.7 inches) and black frames. "P88" weighs slightly more than "Apple" computer, and has only 1 hour of autonomous working battery life. "iPad" battery is sufficient up to 10 hours.

"Shenzhen Great Loong Brother Industrial" claims that it also sells "P88" is in the United States.

"Apple" representatives declined to comment on the claim of the Chinese company.

Meanwhile, the Japanese company, "Fujitsu" does not exclude recourse to the court for illegal "iPad" name usage. "Fujitsu", in 2002, presented a "portable computing device" "iPad "that uses the Windows CE.NET 5.0 platform.

In 2003 "Fujitsu" has applied to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, seeking to register a trade name: "iPad". The application was delayed because, at the same time, another company wanted to register the name of its product as well - a keyboard model.

By 2009, the question of the "iPad" has never been examined, so "Fujitsu" has submitted a second application. The Company's report states that "Apple's" new computer" iPad "infringes laws of trademark which is protected the United States.

Chinese companies are also known of their products which are very similar (almost identical) to "Apple's" phones which are usually a lot cheaper and poor built quality.
