The National Association of Chinese Americans (NACA) will hold a New Year buffet at the Canton House Restaurant (Buford Highway) on Saturday February 6, 2010 at 6:00pm. This is a reservation only event and tickets are selling like hot fortune cookies.

Also on Saturday February 6, 2010, the Tzu Chi Foundation of Atlanta will perform the ushering in of the Lunar New Year blessing ceremony. This will take place at the Chinese Community Center located at 5377 New Peachtree Road, Chamblee, GA 30341. The ceremony starts at 7:00pm but aim to be there at about 6:30pm. If requested, the blessing can be translated into English; call (770) 986-8669 for more details. Cost: free
The Chinese Cultural Center is hosting a two-day festival, February 13 and 14, 2010 10:00 am to 4:00pm. You can expect to see a dragon dance, Chinese opera performances and a traditional drum performance. But that's not all. There will also be calligraphy demonstrations, Chinese arts and crafts and plenty of authentic food on sale. The Chinese Cultural Center is located at 5377 New Peachtree Road, Chamblee, GA 30341. The Vietnamese Association of Greater Atlanta (VAC-GA) will host a 2010 TET New Year festival. This will take place on Saturday February 13, 2010 at 4:00pm through to 1:00am, and Sunday February 14, 2010 at 12:00pm through to 8:00pm. Sounds like a party!
