1/2 lb beef fillet
Preparation Group A:
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons cooking wine
1 teaspoons soy sauce
Preparation Group B:
1/4 lb shredded onions
1 tablespoon minced garlic cloves
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation Group C:
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
Preparation Group D:
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
How it's done:
1. Cut beef into 1/2' x 1 1/2" long strips. Marinate in Preparation Group A for 20 minutes,
2. Heat a sauté pan, add 2 cup corn oil and heat to 300F. Soak beef in hot oil until the color changes. Remove and drain.
3. Keep 2 tablespoons oil in the sauté pan, stir-fry Preparation Group B until fragrant. Stir-in beef and Preparation Group C, fry briefly. Thicken with Preparation Group D. Serve.
