There are four tabs in the application: Order, Find, Food, and About. The Order and Find tabs are only available when you are connected to a network. The Food and About tabs are available both online and offline.
Order
When connected to a network, the Chipotle application allows you to place an order that is completely customizable, as if you were ordering in-person. If you are connected to a network when you open the application, you will automatically be on the Order tab. If not, then select the Order tab to begin. Click "Create New Order" to look through the menu. You are first given the option of choosing the type of food you want. Your options include:
-Burrito
-Bowl
-Soft Tacos
-Crispy Tacos
-Salad
-Sides and Drinks
Selecting one of the first five food options will take you to a Fill It page, where you are given options for meat or vegetable fillings. Your options include:
-Steak
-Chicken
-Barbacoa
-Carnitas
-Veggie
You can mix and match up to two different meats. The Veggie option must be picked alone. The price of each option is listed below the option and will largely determine the price of the overall meal. Each option is a little under $6.00. For the meat options, you can choose to add extra meat for an additional $2.00.
Once you have selected your main filling, you can click the Continue button to continue to the next page, where you can now add extra toppings. Your options include:
-Rice
-Fajitas
-Pinto Beans
-Black Beans
-Sour Cream
-Cheese
-Guacamole
-Lettuce
There are also a few different options for salsa, including:
-Fresh Tomato, which is mildly spicy
-Roasted Chili-Corn, which is medium hot
-Tomatillo-Green Chili, which is also medium hot
-Tomatillo-Red Chili, which is hot
Excluding the guacamole, all of the above options, from rice to the different salsas, can be added at no extra cost. Guacamole can be added for an additional $1.65. When you are happy with your decision, click Continue.
The next page will give you options for Sides and Drinks. Your side options include:
-Chips and Guacamole
-Chips and Fresh Tomato Salsa
-Chips and Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa
-Chips and Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa
-Chips and Tomatillo-Red Chili Salsa
-Chips
-Guacamole
Your drink options currently include:
-Small soda
-Large soda
-Bottled water
-IZZE drinks (Blackberry, Grapefruit, Clementine)
-Nantucket drinks (Apple, Pineapple Orange Banana, Peach Orange, Pomegranate Cherry)
When you are done picking sides and/or drinks, click Add To Bag. You can now name your order and include special instructions on how to prepare your meal.
This meal is now in your bag. If you have a Chipotle account, you can checkout now. You can pay by card by entering in details (which can be saved for quicker access in the future) or choose to pay In-Store. Next, you can choose a pickup time and/or location. Place your order, and you're ready to go!
Find
While online, you can also search for Chipotle locations all over the United States. This can be useful if you're planning a trip to somewhere you're unfamiliar with and would like to know that you're in range of a Chipotle, in case you get hungry. You may also find this useful if you're deciding on where to visit and would like your destination to be anywhere near a Chipotle. How ever you decide to use the Find tab, just make sure you're online or you won't be able to access the tab in the first place.
Food
If you are offline but would still like to look at mouthwatering pictures of Chipotle food, then go to the Food tab. You can scroll through the menu, which includes pictures as well as a short description of each menu item. This can be helpful if you're trying to decide what to eat for your next meal, or if you just want to indulge in some eye-candy.
About
The About tab gives a summary of Food with Integrity, the philosophy that Chipotle works under. Check out this tab if you want a little knowledge about where the ingredients in your Chipotle food comes from.
So for all you Chipotle lovers out there, get this application now and make your tummy happy!
