"Chips to Go. Please"

Casino Robbery Part 1

Dr. Peter J. Shield Ph.D. ARP
Imagine if you will a guy in a motorcycle helmet walking into a casino, pulling a gun and leaving with $1.5 million dollars in gambling chips.

Like so many other writers who live and work in Las Vegas, the thought of coming up with the next "Oceans 11" is a constant.

So lets imagine if you will that this was a well-planned team effort! Say 4 or 5 individuals with no previous records. Lets also imagine that the mastermind comes up with a couple of hundred thousand dollars to fund the hoist.

First he befriends three high-end dealers, beautiful ladies who look after the high rollers at the tables of their choice. A $1000.00 tip and an invitation to join him for drinks after her shift should do the trick.

Over a few dates he offers them a deal that is too good to be true - a $100,000 commission just to switch a few chips. Say on a given night they go to the restroom and are given $500,000 in the form of two $250,000 chips which they have to switch for their equivalent in lower value chips (say $1000.00 denominations). At the close of their shifts the numbers will tally and in their own minds no one is out of pocket! They on the other hand are clean and have the down payment on their new home, or that sports convertible they have dreamed about since arriving in Las Vegas.

I'm sure there are flaws in this scenario but experts confirm that Oceans 11 couldn't have happened either?

To back up the plan; two 'high rollers' that have been spending big over the last few days (Remember the $200,000.00 stake) and are at the tables when our motorcyclist strikes are delivered a number of high value chips by another beautiful damsel (Played by Julia Roberts of course) She simply delivers a 'few' heavy chips into their hands minutes after the hoist occurs.

A simple hand off to 'Julia' out of security camera shot before he mounts his motorcycle and vanishes into the night makes it all possible..

By the way did I mention that our mastermind is a senior manager who works at the casino!
