Cho Seung- Hui's , "Ismael-AX" - What Does it Mean?

The web pages and the news media are racing to find out what exactly does the scrawling marks on the Virginia Tech shooter actually mean.
On Cho Seung-Hui's arm is written "Ismael-Ax" and many speculate about what this might mean or what hidden clues or messages may
be hidden in this phrase. Could it be an underlying message? A motivational parable that eased tension from within? Or just a suicidal
note displaying a justification mark that he would have to burden until the division between him and the world was made final? The New York Post, The Daily News, AMS paper, and other televised media are all in search for answers.

In Hebrew, names bestowed upon new born children were actual words of action or phrases that coined a momentous moment that should last a life time. For example, the phrase "Reuben" means look a son! And this in Hebrew is considered a name for a person, but on the other hand it is still an exclamation that accentuates an act or action. According to Genesis 16, Ismael spelled Ishmael was the son of the patriarch Abraham. Ismael was given birth by his fathers handmaiden Hagar. Sarah the wife of Abraham who at the time could not conceive children later became pregnant and gave birth to her son Isaac. The son of Sarah's handmaiden Ishmael and the son of Sarah Isaac both developed animosity toward one another due to the rivalry between their mothers.
Here is where Cho Seung could have created his parallel ideas while associating the struggles of the United Sates he might have with his own personal feelings and sense of lack in belongingness failed to self actualize and may have incidentally woven a tapestry that could have clouded his ability of judgment and sound modern understanding. Possibly originating as a follower of a common belief system he may have finally felt betrayed by his peers, his associates and maybe the world. He may have developed a strong resentment and identified himself with Ishmael who was cast out into the wilderness. He may have felt that he was a part of the whole in society, free to make exterior and live as he freely believed to be, however; indifference's and criticism may have separated him from taking social plunges.

Stubbornness is a good trait when it stands up against things that are evil and corrupt, but it can be re transformed from a once good courage into a regiment of guide lines, rules, and standards that now serve the intents and desires of a betrayed and angry person. These strong precepts, unwritten personal laws become misguided and begin to serve a severely maldeveloped mechanism that directs the being toward a new course of action and direction. Ordinarily a person, the being, cultivates manners of method to which will best suit the persons healthy desires, ambitions or dreams.

The term "AX" may not be as symbolic so much as "Ismael" in that Ishmael is the action word that means may God hear the cries or actions of Cho Seung. The "AX" may carry a lighter weight in symbolic meaning in that the Axe may represent the dividing of man and earth, the tool that is sharp, intelligent and witty on both ends, the divide between Issac and Ishmael, and the tool that divides logs or souls asunder for a judgment already premeditated. The logs to divide were probably what Cho Seung saw as irreparable indifference's that were passed down and inherited to inflict modern day humanity. Hence, a conflict in the human condition requiring reconciliation or a provocation that will require some form of representation of an old and modern historic dilemma that may have been past down through lineages of beliefs and practices. As this may be an opinion as to what may have or may be Cho Seung- Hui's motivation for his actions, what still remains for question is that he was diagnosed and still was released.

It also appears that Cho's struggles were also ideals based upon "rich brats with SUV'S in addition to his view of their gold chains. These symbols were motivating factors that he probably blamed for his peers ability to dismiss him as an object for ridicule and derision. Where did Cho conceive these ideas from? My answer is that Cho Seung may not have been talking about the financial status of his hated peers but attitudes that may have been projected that he may have found resentful and condescending. In result he may have labeled their attitudes of "rich brats" as a mannerism of being that he may have viewed to be useless and a waste. He may have felt that they have given up the chance to be descent human beings toward him for material gain and the right to be boastful and separative. Yes he has receive a great deal of Media, however, from which perspective do we wish to begin to analyze this situation? Does one just become insanely imbalanced without probable cause? Was Aristotle correct to say that the unjust will do everything to make the just appear evil and do everything to make the unjust appear Grandeur? It was in no way a Just act for Cho Seung to commit the horrific act he has done and afflicted upon some many beautiful and wonderful people. However, I am not looking or speculating from this angle. I trust that every human being begins a journey in life with the right intentions and will to succeed in achieving what one has first set out to achieve. And for Cho Seung it may have been a degree in English however, he may also not have obtained a bigger picture of the world. Where he may have felt un supported by his own fellow Asian community due to a possible fact that Cho was already deemed indifferent as an outsider and any one siding with him may have felt that they too would be looked upon as not assimilating and in result would be afraid of criticism and rejection. However, there are in most parts large areas of Korean communities in New York and L.A. that are financially prolific and doing quiet well. My question is: Where do we begin to understand a condition in a human being without first trying to profile or categorize? It is easier to abandon the responsibility of searching for the truth of the matter, however; as long as we look to find blame and escape excuses we will not develop or exercises the human capacity of being truthful in our pursuit of justice, honesty and truth. Therefore what can our pursuit of happiness be when we abandoned the pursuit itself? Why was this man allowed to be released upon his own recognizance if he may have proved to be a danger to himself or to society?
