Chocolate

More Chocolate, Please

Teresa Mahieu
April is National Poetry Month. This is my response to a poetry challenge to write a poem in couplet style about my favorite food. Enjoy!

Chocolate

I smell chocolate, yes I do
I smell chocolate, how about you?
Chocolate is my favorite drink,
Morning, noon and night I think.
I love Chocolate, it tastes great
I could eat chocolate by the crate.
Chocolate makes my mouth all watery,
Charlie was lucky to win the lottery.
Chocolate candles scent my room,
Chocolate is my favorite perfume.
I smell chocolate, yes I do,
I smell chocolate, How about you?
