Post a CommentTechnically if I stayed strictly within the old Japanese form...yes. But modern haiku writers don't always limit themselves to specifics...Haiku can be about anything as long as they maintain the 5-7-5 formula.
Lisa, I think harry said it all: YUMMY!
Oooops! Not "lost"! I mean "LOTS"!!!!
Hi, I'm new here. This is very pretty. Very nicely written poem. But isn't haiku supposed to refer to a season in the first or second line and isn't there supposed to be a new thought in the third line about how human nature is like nature? I don't write haiku but I did study it and it looks like something is missing here. But I think it's really pretty. You've got lost of really pretty poetry and I like it.
Ah, you temptress, you. You lure us in with the aroma of chocolate and surprise us with an even more tempting bit of art. Well done.
