Choice...Life Or Death?
Christ or Satan? Right or Left? This Way or that Way? Are You at a Fork in Your Road?
2 Timothy 2:10-15
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
If we deny Him..He will deny us...so do we have a choice to deny Him? Absolutely...so do we also have the choice to accept Him, and if we loose faith He will remain faithful because He cannot deny HIMSELF, because once we make that choice he lives within us, but we CAN choose to deny Him.
Here are some more verses....
Deut. 30:17-20
17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
Joshua 24:14-22
14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.
20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.
22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.
So my friend when you have come to that fork I pray that you make the right choice. My prayer for you today is that when the road signs are telling you one thing that you listen to that spirit within you and follow it. Make the choice today to LIVE!!

Post a CommentNice Piece of Work, Neely! I'm happy that you are spreading the WORD! ...however, according to your article: You have this DRAMATIC change in what you want to do in your life. I've heard this over and over again, but I'm gonna share something personal with you. I know I have been saved by the blood of Christ. I have a good relationship with God, and I The Father has performed miracles in my life, however I still sin a lot, and I don't have a problem with cussing, drinking, etc... The main thing that gets me is when people take God's name in vain. That's one thing that I never do. It sounds sick! Could that be the Holy Spirit living in me?
Take Care Neely,
If you ever need any support or advice, I'm here for you!
