The most common type of Cholesterol is the round plastic container that resembles a mayonnaise texture. It can come in a yellow or orange color. Cholesterol is also available in a hot oil form. Personally for the multiple times I have destroy my hair due to bad judgment, I prefer the mayonnaise textured form, it gives the best results and moisturizes better than the hot oil version.
If you have damaged hair this could be just what you hair needs. Cholesterol is one of the cheapest hair fixes available on the market. The reason it works so great it because it has multiple uses. For those who have ever received a bad or tight perm, you may or may not have been told to use cholesterol to loosen the perm up. It does this without damaging your hair or removing the curl from your locks. You can leave the conditioner on for about ten or fifteen minutes and you will notice a significant difference in the tightness of the curl if that was your intention.
With the multiples times and shades of color I have dyed my hair over the years, its surprising that I still have hair. When your hair is over colored or has damaged ends, you can sit with cholesterol on your head for ten minutes or more and see amazing results. For the best results you will want to do several days of applications to soften the dead ends. Even if you leave the conditioner on for longer than it says to, there will be no negative consequences to your hair. It will add shine and softness to your hair that you may not have had for awhile. Another helpful tip is to get regular haircuts to help remove the dead ends from your hair.
Cholesterol is safe enough to use every day if you choose. Cholesterol is available at Walgreen's, Wal-Mart or other beauty stores. The maker of Cholesterol is Queen Helene and can be found near the ethnic hair products.
