St. Anthony's Medical Center offers community cholesterol testing for St. Louis. This cholesterol testing consists of an extensive lipid profile which tests total cholesterol, triglyceride levels, HDL and LDL, cardiac risk ratio, and fasting glucose. The cost is only $30. You will need to fast for 12 hours before doing the test. Your cholesterol screening results are provided immediately. Testing is only done on Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. each week. Appointments are required so remember to call the program and see if they can get you in before you start fasting.

Progress West Healthcare Center

On Tuesday September 22 Progress West Healthcare Center is offering the community free cholesterol screening tests. There testing includes blood pressure screening, total cholesterol, HDL levels, glucose level, and your body mass index (BMI). Appointments for this free screening are required. This is only for one day; Tuesday September 22. Hours will run from 5 p.m. through 8 p.m.
