A Beach Wedding is a wedding company in Hawaii that has many different options for couples who want to get married, renew their vows, or have a commitment ceremony. We of course, were looking for a marriage ceremony and were happy to see that there are a ton of options offered. It was just going to be the two of us, so keeping it very simple was important. We didn't need archways, rows of seating, or anything else; we really just wanted a minister that would make us husband and wife. A Beach Wedding had the perfect package for us, A Barefoot Wedding. This package provides you with the basics that you need to get married and allows you to choose any items from the '˜a la carte menu.' These items include things such as food, shell leis and fresh flower leis, and anything else that you might want included in your wedding. These are all very reasonably priced as well. It doesn't matter whether your wedding is large or small though. A Beach Wedding has a package that will suit every wedding and every couple's needs.
Included in ours, and most packages offered by A Beach Wedding, are a commemorative marriage certificate and a copy of the vows. The marriage certificate, while it doesn't serve as a legal document, is a very nice way to remember your day and place in a frame next to your wedding picture. I was also very impressed with not only receiving a copy of the vows, but with the vows themselves. After being together for so long, we wanted vows that were unique and truly spoke to our relationship. But we also didn't want to write our own, as my now-husband wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea. And even though I'm a writer, there's something about putting that bold emotion down on paper that makes me a bit squeamish as well. I knew from A Beach Wedding's website that the company had unique vows prepared, which reassured me, but I was even happier when I heard them '" they truly were everything I could have hoped for. They were unique, yet still held the same sentiments as traditional vows, and they were very Hawaiian with local lingo such as "Mahalo" included throughout. Perfect, and something that made our day even more special for us.
What made our wedding though was not A Beach Wedding's website, or even the fact that they had so much to offer. It was Reverend Kermit, Rydell, the minister at A Beach Wedding who performed the ceremony. Rev. Rydell continuously went above and beyond from our very first dealings with him to when we were back in Canada, newlyweds home from our vacation. What first impressed me most about Rev. Rydell is that every email I had sent previous to our arriving on Oahu was answered. When you're getting married in a different country and so far away from your own home, there are a lot of questions. And if A Beach Wedding's website doesn't answer them for you, Rev. Rydell will.
Previous to arriving in Hawaii, Reverend Rydell sent us clear, specific instructions on how to get to Diamond Head Beach, where the ceremony would be held, and where to meet him. Not knowing anything about Hawaii, Oahu, or the Waikiki area while initially looking at these directions, we could still tell that they were very clear and would get us where we needed to go easily. Rev. Rydell didn't just include directions and street names in his directions. They included things like "by the yellow fire plug" and "just where the cement wall ends." These were very helpful, as when you get there you can actually see what he means and these small landmarks will point you exactly where to go.
When we met Reverend Rydell at the beach, my positive impression of him only grew. There was a short walk over some rocky terrain while we made our way down to the beach to the spot where we would be married. During the short walk, Rev. Rydell gave us some history about the area and pointed out that Olivine was located on the beach, a mineral that's rarely seen on any beach in the world; Diamond Head is one of the few that has it. I thought this information was very nice to have, and I don't know that many other ministers would have gone to the trouble of telling us, especially never having met us before that day. But it did make the location of our wedding even more special to us, and adds to the many great memories we have of that day.
After the wedding ceremony, and after our vacation when we were back home, I realized that I hadn't received the copy of the vows was included in the package. I was disappointed that I couldn't remember them fully the way that Rev. Rydell had spoken them, especially because they were so unique. Quickly checking A Beach Wedding's website, I saw that the copy of the vows needs to be requested, and I hadn't done so. Hoping that I could still receive a copy, I sent Rev. Rydell another quick email, asking him if he could send me a copy. I had them the next morning! Even though his business was finished with us, Rev. Rydell still wanted to make sure that we had all the happy memories of that day, and he got them to us. That really impressed me very much!
I rarely like giving perfect reviews for anything; I mean, just about everything in life has some sort of flaw or another. But for our wedding, we feel as though we couldn't have made a better choice. A Beach Wedding will make sure that your Hawaiian beach wedding is easy to arrange, and a day that will be filled with memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime. And Rev. Rydell will make sure that all you have to do is enjoy being in paradise! Contact them today at http://beachwed.com!
