Christmas tree farms can be a great tradition for the family, a place where you get to choose and cut your own Christmas tree. Kelumac Christmas Tree Farm is 23-acres with a picnic area, fishing pond and a gift shop. If you want to spend the night they offer accommodations at their Bed & Breakfast. Choose and cut your own Christmas tree, tree stands and wrapping available. There 5-9 foot Virginia Pine ranges around $5 per foot. Leland & Arizona Cypress and Douglas & Fraser Firs are also available. Kelumac will open the day after Thanksgiving. Hours: Saturday-Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Thursday-Friday from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Peach Creek Christmas Tree Farm is on 40-acres. Peach Creek features the Virginia Pine and are priced according to size. Cut and choose your own Christmas tree, they range from 4-5 foot and start around $25, the 15-foot and taller start around $175. A small inventory of Carolina Sapphire and Leyland Cypress are available. Peach Creek will open for one month beginning the day after Thanksgiving. Hours: Monday-Friday from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

This is not just a Christmas Tree Farm; it is a real farm with animals. What fun! This 21-acre Christmas tree farm has over 3,000 trees available with a Country Store and Sweet Shop that offers home-made fudge, country cooking and gifts.You will take a hay ride to choose and cut your own Christmas tree and then you will make your way back to Santa's Workshop with a Dewberry elf. The Christmas trees range in size from 5-8 foot. Each tree is priced individually and will vary with the tree height and quality. Some of the 6-foot Christmas trees are priced below $50 and some of the premium 6-foot trees can go up to $65. Dewberry farm opens the day after Thanksgiving with no admission charge and will close by December 13 or sooner, if all the Christmas trees sell. Hours: Friday from noon to dusk, Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to dusk, Sunday from noon to dusk.

High Star Christmas Tree Farm features the Texas Grown Virginia Pine. The kids will have plenty of opportunities for fun; they can take a ride on the converted cotton wagon or the tractor drawn train, try out the farmer's hay jump or find your way through the maze. There is also a Wreath Barn, watch them hand-make a wreath and take a look at there other handmade items. There Virginia Pine Christmas trees range in sizes from 4-foot to over 10-feet. The prices range from around $25 up to $135. Hours: Monday-Friday from noon-5:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-dusk.
