Choose a Nursery Theme for a Baby Boy

Baby boys deserve a cute little nursery to start their lives in. It can be a lot of fun decorating a nursery for a baby boy. Here are some suggestions to choose a nursery theme for a baby boy.

CHOOSE BY COLOR: You could choose from a variety of colors for a boy. If it is your first child and you plan on having more you could do neutral colors like greens or yellows that could work for either sex. If you want to go with bold boy colors, you could choose to go with a bright blue, black, and white or simply black and blue or white and blue. These are all color options for a boy. Red is another good color options for a boys room. You could do a red, black, and white also. You could simply do black and white with accents of blue or red, if you would like that option better. Color options are endless, just don't use pink.

CHOOSE BY CARTOON CHARACTERS: Choose a cartoon character that young kids watch like Diego or Baby Enistein's for your baby boy's room. You can find a variety of items to decorate with using these characters at department and retail stores. Be creative and get stuffed toys to hang in a basket on the wall or even hang from the ceiling or fan. Make it cute.

CHOOSE PLAID: Choose plaid options to decorate a boys nursery with. Plaid is usually masculine and get accent a baby boy's nursery nicely. You can find picture frames, bedding, and even baby accessories with plaid on it. Again, the options with plaid are endless, especially for a boy's room.

CHOOSE DISNEY DECOR: Choose from Tiger or Pooh Disney characters to decorate the room with. You can find baby accessories, bedding, stuffed animals, and even wall border with Disney character on it. This is especially cute to decorate a boy's nursery in. If you choose to do this, the colors will fall into place easily and effortlessly. You set the Disney stuffed animals on a corner shelf hung high in the baby's nursery for a cute look.

Remember to be careful when decorating your child's nursery. You do not want to put your baby in harms way. Make sure to never hang anything directly over their crib that could fall on them and make sure to never leave too many blankets or stuffed animals in the crib with them that they could suffocate on. Use common sense when deocrating a baby's nursery and keep it safe.
