Choose Red and White for a Stylish Wedding

Red and white are a color combination with a dynamic visual appeal. The warmth of red to highlighted by white. Red is a color that is associated with passion, love and romance; which makes it a meaningful color for a wedding ceremony. A red and white (or ivory) wedding is a striking combination for a Christmas wedding, New Year's wedding or Valentine's Day. The color combination is not limited to those special occasions though. Red and white is also a refreshing color combination during the summer months.

Red is a bold look for a bride that makes a dynamic statement. For the bride who wants to make a daring statement, a red gown might be just the thing. Red Hot Brides is a website especially for the bride who loves red. The site has pictures posted of luscious red gowns, that look like beautiful ball gowns and luxurious evening dresses.

House of Brides has a selection of Red Hot Wedding Gown on their website. Bonny Couture offers an iridescent satin organza strapless wedding gown with an ornate bodice decorated with rhinestones. An Alfred Angelo gown of ivory is embroidered in claret. The House of Brides website has several red and red trimmed bridal gowns that look dynamic and stylish .

Many brides love the look of red and white, but prefer the red to be a dynamic accent color. A red sash or red hem on a white gown is a striking look. Red pairs well with silver or gold embroidery and with crystals. A white gown with a red panel with embroidered silver on gold running down the back of the dress to the floor has a lot of interest in the back, which is what onlookers see during the wedding ceremony.

The red and white theme can also be accomplished with the bride in an all white dress and the bridesmaids in red. Bridesmaids can era beautiful red gowns with either white or black accents. Red bridesmaid gowns with black sashes coordinate well with black tuxes worn by the groom and groomsmen. The combination of a bride dressed in a beautiful white gown, surrounded by bridesmaids in red and the groom and groomsmen in black is a striking one.

Following are suggestions to accessorize a red and white wedding theme.

1. Red and white invitations. White paper invitations with red print is readable, sharp look.

2. Red and white bouquets. Bouquets should carry out the theme of the colors in the wedding. Red roses are a classic wedding choice that works beautifully with a red and white theme.

3. Boutonnieres. The groom and groomsmen can wear a red rosebuds in their lapel.

4. Wedding Cake. A wedding cake with white icing decorated with red trim and flowers is lovely. I have seen outstanding cakes with tiers in white icing with real red roses between the tiers.

5. Centerpieces and table decorations. Red roses on the table covered with a white tablecloth look outstanding. Consider bud vases with a single rose placed at intervals along the table.

6. Party Favors. Give guests a small box of candy in a heart shaped box for a Valentine's Day wedding. Red votive candles in a glass holder are a nice remembrance.

The red and white color theme for the stylish wedding can be carried out in many different touches and accessories. The look of color coordinated red and white is bound to be a striking wedding.

I am wondering if I ever get married again what colours I would wear, being conservative, I only thought of cream or beige but this is quite interested.
