An all in one printer is usually a mix of two or more of the following devices:
* Printer
* Scanner
* Photocopier
* Fax
* E-mail
These are all wrapped up into a single convenient, compact unit. As a rule the price is between $100 and $200 dependant upon the brand, the specs plus the features. There are a few bare bones mutifunction printers at hand that cost under $100. These tend to be trimmed down versions of the more expensive models. There's also models which may be in excess of $200 and this is nearly always dependent on the top features of the device.
The best photo printer will always have both a printer plus a scanner. If you would like a printer for a company or your home office you ought to consider purchasing a printer that has a fax and copier. If you are a professional photographer or freelance photographer and do not need or require your own photo lab you might want to consider splurging on a top quality photo printer. An amateur photographer can just stick with a printer like the lower cost photo printers.
Virtually all printers are either multifunction or all in one since virtually all printers, whether or not they be photo printers, office printers or business printers they nearly always both print and scan.
