Choosing the Correct Size Condom: Get a Perfect Fit

Dear Auntie
Today, safe sex requires the wearing of a condom, and if you are to have an enjoyable sexual experience it is important to find the right condom for you and your partner. A condom affects both partners: the one wearing the condom needs to feel completely comfortable and the one who isn't, is going to want their partner to wear a condom that isn't going to interfere with their sexual pleasure and experience. It is wise to take some time in experimenting to find the correct condom for you.

Many people are under the wrong impression that the thinnest condom is going to be the best, as it will be the least noticeable. In fact for years condom manufacturers also subscribed to this theory and concentrated on producing thin condoms but strong condoms. Recently, though, condom manufacturers have tried a different approach making condoms that are more conspicuous, but through extra stimulation provide more pleasure.

Another mistake guys make when thinking condom is they think about their penis size and that usually means they concentrate on the length, but width cannot be ignored especially when it comes to fit. The biggest problem being the ring at the base is not wide enough and causes discomfort. Well, should you be in this category there are manufacturers that make certain brands that are wider but are not longer. In fact if you do some research you will find some brands that are just wider at the head.

Condoms usually measure about 7 inches long but for some men to have a good fit they require condoms that are longer still. If you choose a large sized condom you will find that they are probably longer and wider. But be careful a condom that is too long can also cause a problem.

Today, there are many, many styles of condoms to choose from and there are also many different companies that manufacture condoms. Take the time to experiment with the different companies. Each company will have different brands and each of these will be different in texture and size but if you find a company where you cannot get the right fit or feel move on to another company.

Some people find that they have an allergic reaction to some condoms. This could be a latex allergy or an allergy to the lubricant that may be on the pre-lubricated condoms that you are using. Try a non-latex condom and if that doesn't fix the problem try a condom that isn't pre-lubricated.

The average condom length is 7.5 inches but with a 4 incher, i only use half the length.
