Choosing the Right Party School: A Dummy's Guide to College Partying

SDR2010
If you are selecting a college and are having some trouble finding the college experience that you see on the big screen, - and this is the most important thing to you - I believe you may find it difficult to make sure that this is your experience when you actually get there. One of my best friends is a kid who loves to party, and so this is something he was looking to get out of the college that he choose to attend. However, when he got there, he found that college was not as fun as he thought it would be and so he decided to leave the school and find another, which would give him the experience that he was looking for. If you are in this same boat and you would like to know how best to find such a school I could tell you that this is a pretty easy thing if you are willing to do some looking. I have found the following techniques to be the most helpful:

You will need to look for magazines about the best colleges of the year, which are sold in bookstores and on newsstands all over the world. If you open the magazine you will see that they include a list of the schools that have the most parties and you will need to go through the list and note the ones, which you would be interested in.

Once you have this list you will need to narrow it by going to the website which belongs to the school. You can look up the list of fraternities and sororities that they currently have on campus. You will find that schools which party a lot has a large list of both so larger lists will be a good indication.

Contact the school and ask that their policy toward fraternities and sororities and write down what they say. Some universities will discharge students who belong to other clubs, which are not recognized by the university so you should determine where they stand on this issue.

You should then look up the statistics of the student body that attends the school; if they have a low GPA requirement then they will demand less of you, which leaves you more time to party. Then eliminate the ones who fall short and select the one that is the most liberal.
