Giving of wedding favors is a traditional thing in weddings that most brides would want included in their own weddings as well. These are the little somethings you give your guests to go home with, kind of like a souvenir from your wedding. With so many possible goodies and decorative to give out, which one should you choose?

First, have in mind the wedding theme or motif you are having and then just let your imagination run along that line of thought. Also think of the possible colors that you would want to associate with the theme. Remember that your wedding favors will serve as souvenirs to your wedding so it should be something that will remind them of your wedding and wedding theme.

After you have given thought about the theme and the possible colors you can incorporate with them, go look around and canvass for anything with the signature colors or anything that may be link to the theme of your wedding. You might also want to include the pricelist of these possible wedding favors. Remember to give ample time for wedding favor canvass and the choosing or selecting of it.

Look back and refer to the budget you allocated for wedding favors and eliminate from the list all those that exceed your budget. Also consider crushing out those wedding favors with little taste or those you just do not like, remember these gifts will somehow speak a little of your personality. Think about your guests and their preferences; eliminate from the list the wedding favors that will possibly just end up in their trash bins.

After you have done the elimination process, buy a few samples of the wedding favors you really liked. Line them all up on the table and try to grasp each of their impact on you. Choose and go with the wedding favor that best goes with your wedding theme and personality. If it is too much a pain to choose, you might as well mix up your wedding favors and have 3 different kinds and just randomly to your guests. You might also want different wedding favors for the sponsors, or the bride's guests and family different from the groom's guests and family. Wedding favors are the little things that will be left with your guest to remind them of your wedding and will serve as a little token of appreciation for their presence.
