Choupique RV Park offers RVers all the amenities that will make their stay easier. They have large cement rv sites, full hookups, a trash dumpster, a laundry facility and nice, clean restrooms with clean, hot showers. There is also a coke machine in the park building and a small pond to fish in. Cable and Wifi are both available through a local company. Pets are more than welcome as long as they are well-behaved and their owners are responsible for them.
The location of Choupique RV Park adds to its charm. Interstate 10 is less than 10 minutes north of the park so it is close enough to Sulphur and Lake Charles, Louisiana to be convenient, but far enough away to be comfortable. Also, with it being located on Highway 27 S, which leads to the Louisiana Gulf Coast and Sabine Wildlife Refuge, RVers who are interested in visiting those attractions will have easy access, and RVers with both an RV and a boat are more than welcome which makes it nice for those who wish to try their hand at some great Louisiana fishing.
Choupique RV Park is a great place to stay, especially if the RVer is looking for a nice, quiet place to use as home base while in the Southwest Louisiana area. Not only is the RV Park kept very clean, but the owners/managers are wonderful people who will go out of their way to make you feel welcome while staying here. They are very nice and caring, which was very evident when a storm crossed paths with the park and they took the time to check on each RV there. If the RV had damage they contacted the owners if they were not present and even went out of their way to temporarily fix the problems that the storm had caused.
RVers who are looking for a place to stay when in the Sulphur, Louisiana area should really consider Choupique RV Park, whether they are planning a trip to the area for a quick vacation trip or if they are one of the many workers at one of the plants located just a few minutes away.
