Chowtime Productions: Unique Pottery for Your Cat and Dog

Dog Bowls, Pet Picture Frames, Dog Treat Jars, and Pet Urns

Bobbi Leder
Are you looking for a special present for your dog for Valentine's Day? Why not treat your cat or dog to personalized pottery made just for him by Chowtime Productions? Alyson Whitney, a Woodlands-based artist who studied art in Florence, Italy, makes unique dog and cat bowls, dog and cat treat jars, dog and cat photo frames, and pet urns. And each pet bowl can have a matching treat jar so you won't mind showing them off in your kitchen.

How the Pottery is Made

This greater-Houston based artist makes her pottery dishwasher and microwave safe; however, Whitney suggests hand-washing your pottery to extend its life. Each piece is hand-painted, and glazed with lead-free glaze (and is therefore safe for pets). Individual colors are applied a minimum of three times to create the strong colors that represent Chowtime Production's signature look. Once painted, the pottery is bisque-fired in the kiln, glazed, and fired a second time.

Uniqueness

The best part about pottery for your dog or cat is that his piece will be unique because no two pieces are alike. The cat and dog bowls and treat jars are available in two different sizes; and some of the pet urns are available in several sizes as well. To see the beautiful and original examples of pet urns click here http://chowtimeproductions.com/dogcremation-memorial-urns.aspx although they make custom pet urns as well.

Orders

Shipping is free so it is not just Houstonians that have the opportunity to purchase such artistry for their cats and dogs. Orders take between 7-10 days to produce, and shipping takes between 3-5 days depending on your location.

We sell Chowtime products to GoFetchGifts.com and were featured last year by People Magazine's Pets web site because of them. They suggested the Chowtime treat jars as a mother's day gift. I love these jars and bowls!

Abby's had a bowl since she was two years old, she's very attached to it or I would get her a new one! Intersting article.
